Worth knowing
Your finance system has a 2027 deadline attached to it.
The UAE Ministry of Finance set out mandatory e-invoicing in Ministerial Decisions 243 and 244 of 2025. A pilot runs from July 2026. From 1 January 2027, businesses with annual revenue of AED 50 million or more must issue structured e-invoices through an accredited service provider. Later phases extend it below that threshold.
A system that cannot produce a structured invoice in the required format will need work either way. If you are choosing or rebuilding one this year, that is a reason to check the requirement now rather than in the last quarter of 2026.

Nexus Cloud · ERP & business systems
The operational backbone,
without the enterprise bill.
Stock, purchasing, approvals and reporting in one connected system, sized for a growing business rather than a multinational. Built, hosted, secured and kept running by us, under your own brand.
Part of Nexus Cloud
Operations Cloud is one configuration of Nexus Cloud, the managed platform we build and run. The system described here is not handed over and then forgotten. We host it, patch it, back it up and support it, and the data inside it stays yours.
How ownership works
You own the business. We own the platform.
Your finance, stock and purchasing system runs on Nexus Cloud, the platform we build, host and maintain. You are not buying a copy of it, and that is deliberate.
Think about how an ERP vendor already works. You pay a licence fee, your staff log in to the vendor’s system and learn the vendor’s screens, and anything your customers ever see carries the vendor’s name. You do not own that software either. What the fee buys is somebody else keeping it running.
We answer the ownership question the same way, and the branding question the opposite way. The platform stays ours. The business running on it is entirely yours: your name on it, your own domain, your own merchant account, your customers and your records, exportable whenever you ask.
What stays ours
The platform, the servers, security patching, version upgrades, backups, monitoring, and being the ones who get the alert when a nightly posting job fails.
What is always yours
Your brand and your domain, your ledger and your documents, your customers and suppliers, your stock records, and your payment account.
Why it costs less
An ERP is never finished. Tax rules change, integrations break, versions reach end of life. You carry the cost of using a system that is kept current, not the cost of employing the people who keep it current.
Configured, not cloned
Shared foundations do not mean a shared template. Your chart of accounts, warehouses, approval limits, document numbering, costing method, currencies, tax treatment and reporting lines are set up around how your company actually runs. Two companies on the same configuration can close their books in completely different ways. What they have in common is the engineering underneath, which is the part you would otherwise be paying a full-time salary to keep current.
The honest limit
We do not hand over a copy of the platform for you to host yourself. If owning the source outright is a firm requirement, tell us at the start and we will say plainly that we are the wrong fit. Everything you put in, though, comes back out on request: all your data, in open formats, within 30 days, at no charge.

When the spreadsheets stop coping.
There is a point where the workarounds cost more than the system would. Usually it shows up as stock that is wrong, approvals that stall, and month-end taking a week.
Can include
- Role-based permissions per department
- Approval limits and escalation rules
- Supplier and price-list management
- Barcode and scanner workflows
- Exports for your accountant
- Audit trail on every change
These are options, not a fixed bundle. How your company runs decides which of them apply, so we scope it first and price it after.
What changes
Decisions based on current numbers.
Approvals that move
Requests route to the right person with a limit attached, and chase themselves.
Stock you can trust
One number, visible to sales, purchasing and the warehouse at the same time.
Faster month-end
Reporting that is already reconciled instead of rebuilt each cycle.
Operations Cloud · the system the business runs on
Four ways to run the back office.
Start with the part that hurts most. Each level adds to the same system rather than replacing it, so the ledger you open with is the ledger you still have four years later.

A straight answer on e-invoicing. VAT is handled today. The UAE mandate starts its pilot in July 2026 and becomes compulsory from 1 January 2027 for businesses above AED 50 million, through an accredited service provider. Nothing on the market is fully compliant yet, because the final requirements are still landing, so treat anyone claiming otherwise with care. Keeping you ready for that date, and connecting you to an accredited provider when the time comes, is part of what managed means here.
Managed, not handed over
Who keeps the finance system running.
An ERP is the least forgiving system in the business. It holds the ledger, and it has to be right in three years, not just at launch.
| A traditional software company | ProcureNexus | |
|---|---|---|
| What you receive | An installation and training sessions | A running system we keep current |
| Version upgrades | A project, priced each time | Included, planned with you |
| Security patching | Your IT person, if you have one | Included and continuous |
| Backups of your ledger | Yours to arrange and to test | Daily, with restores actually tested |
| Your accounting data | Inside their product | Yours. Full export in 30 days, free |
Accounting data outlives software. That is the whole reason the exit terms are written plainly rather than buried in a contract.
Common questions
Questions we are asked most.
What is the difference between off-the-shelf ERP and a custom system?
Off-the-shelf ERP asks your business to work the way the software does. A custom system is built around your existing workflow. For many growing companies the right answer is a focused custom tool covering the few processes that actually hurt, integrated with the accounting package you already own.
How long does an ERP project take?
A focused module such as purchasing with approvals is usually a matter of weeks. A broader system covering inventory, purchasing and reporting takes longer. We deliver in stages you can use, rather than disappearing for months.
Do you work with companies in Lebanon as well as the UAE?
Yes. We are based in Abu Dhabi and work with businesses across the UAE and Lebanon, including multi-country operations that need multicurrency and multilingual support.

We start with the workflow, not the software. The system follows from it.
