Nexus Cloud · Automation & integrations

Connect what you run.
Delete the work between.

Most wasted time sits in the gaps between systems, re-typing, re-formatting, copying numbers from one screen into another. That work can be removed. Built, hosted, secured and kept running by us, under your own brand.

Part of Nexus Cloud

Automation is how the parts of Nexus Cloud talk to each other, and to the systems you already use. It is part of the platform we run for you rather than a separate integration project sold by the hour.

How ownership works

You own the process. We own the platform.

The connections between your systems run on Nexus Cloud, the platform we build, host and maintain. You are not buying a copy of it, and that is deliberate.

Think about the automation tools businesses usually wire together themselves. You pay per task or per run, the logic lives inside somebody else’s account, and when a connection silently stops on a Saturday there is nobody whose job it is to notice. You do not own that software. What the fee buys is a place to keep the wiring, not somebody keeping it working.

We answer the ownership question the same way, and the branding question the opposite way. The platform stays ours. The process running on it is entirely yours: your rules, your systems at both ends, your data and a record of every run, exportable whenever you ask.

01

What stays ours

The platform, the servers, security patching, version upgrades, backups, monitoring, and being the ones who get the alert when a connection fails or the other side changes its interface.

02

What is always yours

Your brand and your domain, your business rules, the systems at both ends, your data and the full history of what moved between them.

03

Why it costs less

Integrations break when the other side changes, which it does without asking. You carry the cost of using connections somebody is watching, not the cost of employing the person who watches them.

Configured, not cloned

Shared foundations do not mean a shared template. Which systems talk, in which direction, how often, what counts as a match, what happens to a record that fails and who gets told about it are all set up around how your business actually works. Two companies on the same configuration can automate completely different things. What they have in common is the engineering underneath, which is the part you would otherwise be paying a full-time salary to keep current.

The honest limit

We do not hand over a copy of the platform for you to host yourself. If owning the source outright is a firm requirement, tell us at the start and we will say plainly that we are the wrong fit. Everything you put in, though, comes back out on request: all your data, in open formats, within 30 days, at no charge.

Where the time goes back.

Typical setups

The work nobody should be doing.

If a person is the integration between two systems, that is a role worth automating, for the cost and for the errors it quietly produces.

Can include

These are options, not a fixed bundle. What you already run decides which of them matter, so we look at your systems before quoting.

What changes

Hours back, errors gone.

01

Enter data once

Typed in a single place, correct everywhere else within seconds.

02

Fewer costly mistakes

Validation catches the wrong price or quantity before it reaches a customer.

03

Scales without headcount

Volume doubles without the admin team doubling with it.

Managed, not handed over

Integrations break quietly. Someone has to be watching.

An integration is the one thing on this site that is guaranteed to break eventually, because it depends on somebody else\u2019s system changing.

This is why automation is part of the managed platform rather than a project sold by the hour. A broken integration that nobody is watching costs more than the integration did.

Common questions

Questions we are asked most.

What can realistically be automated in a small business?

Anything repetitive and rule-based. Generating quotes and invoices. Syncing stock between a shop and a warehouse. Chasing approvals. Importing supplier price lists. Sending notifications when a threshold is crossed.

How do you connect systems that were not designed to talk to each other?

Through their APIs where they exist, and through scheduled file imports, exports and webhooks where they do not. We add validation so bad data is caught before it reaches a customer.

How quickly does automation pay for itself?

The usual test is simple: count the hours your team spends re-typing data each week. Most automation projects we deliver pay back within months rather than years.

What does your team re-type every day?

That question usually finds the highest-value automation in about ten minutes.
